2002-KUSA National Bulldog of the Year
We bought Bella, firstly as a show bitch
and secondly as a breeding bitch. She was bred by Doug and Cathy
Pontus of the Troypon kennel, one of the top Bulldog kennels in
South Africa. Bella comes from a long bloodline of line-bred dogs.
As a puppy, Bella was a real hooligan in the show ring, laying more
on her back than standing on her feet. With patience and hard work
she eventually turn out to be a true 'Show Girl'. All the hard work
was rewarded in June 2002 when she was made up as a South African
Champion. We were delighted when she took Best of Breed at the
Bloemfontein Kennel Club Championship Show on her first outing as a
Champion.
